Thoughts about the team - The development of the team has been really
exciting and it is continueing to grow with new sponsors coming
onboard. Its great to be riding alongside Coatsey, Brian and Joe
and being team mates with them will make a big differance over the
season. With the forces of Brian at TheCyclejersey.com and Al from
MFX air art joining its going to mean we're the pimpest looking
riders on the hill!
Thoughts about the bikes - I've dreamt of the day when i get back
on an Orange and its finally happened! After a number of seasons
on a bike which wieghed that of a tanker and i never felt truely
comfortable on, it is a huge confidence boost getting on a bike
which weighs nothing and is British made. My bike should be running
amazing all year with the support from Mojo and components being
supplied by Fisher Outdoor where ill be running Sram and Truvativ
kit. Going down to the Orange Factory and seeing how the bikes are
made was a superb experience and my appreciation of bike frame has
grown a huge amount. The time and effort which goes into making
the 224 is exceptional. You cant imagine it until you see the production
line. Amazing!
Hopes for the season - My hopes for the season are to gain a top
45 at a World Cup, this will allow me to race at the World Championships
at Fort William and represent Great Britain. It will be an honour
to race there but its myself that will get me there. I also hope
to race at the European Championships where i need to get a top
ten places to have a chance of racing at the Worlds. I also intend
to win the Maxxis Cup series again this year aswell as win the British
Series and National Champs. This is my last year in Juniors so im
giving 100%. Its racing so anything can happen, fingers crossed
it all goes the way i would like it.

Thoughts about the team - 2007 will be my third year riding with
cyclejersey.com and with Al at MFX Air Art joining forces with Brian
Gibb I'm really looking forward to the season ahead . Chris H joins
us again for his third year also and we are joined by Brian Middleton
and Joe Barnes. I really think the team will work well together
and with the new sponsors on board I think we'll see some great
results from the boys.
Thoughts about the bikes - I'm really happy to be riding the Orange
224. I raced on a 222 for a couple of seasons during my senior years
and got on really well with it so am looking forward to see how
3 years of development has improved the bike. The tour of the Orange
factory in February was amazing - I have a new found appreciation
for the way Orange operate and manufacture bikes. The team's confidence
levels are going to go through the roof when we put on our new team
jerseys, pull on our custom painted helmets and swing a leg over
the custom painted 224s - can't wait!
Hopes for the season - My personal hopes for the season are to consistantly
place top 10 in the SDA and top 20 in the NPS rounds. On a team
note i really hope Joe has a good season in elite, it's a big step
for him and I'm sure we'll see some great results from him. My biggest
hope is that we see a team rider (Chris H) on the GB champs squad
in September as that would just top off what is sure to be a great
season.

Where you live - Selkirk, Scottish Borders
Thoughts about the team - I am looking forward to being part of
a team this season. I've been racing (various cycling disciplines)
for 17 years and it's great to have this opportunity and support.
We really appreciate Brian Gibb and Al's support, as downhill is
a very expensive and competitive sport.
Thoughts about the bikes - Cannot wait to get hold of the bike,
paint looks excellent. Like I said just can't wait to ride it!
Hopes for the season - Hoping to do as well as I possibly can for
myself and the team. Will be competing at all Sda and NPS rounds
as well as the world masters champs in France!

Aims for 2007 Season:
For the 2007 season I am very excited to be riding for the CycleJersey/MFX
race team. Riding with friends and on a team with a high profile
will help me progress in the sport.
My aims for the year are very vague just now as it will be my first
year racing elite. Also with a winter away racing in New Zealand
I feel I have stepped it up a level. However I will need to wait
until the first race to see if I have increased the pace relative
to the competition. I will aim at least to get top 5 at SDA’s
and to podium at least twice. In the NPS series I aim for a top
ten. At the world Cup races the aim is always to qualify for the
final and then to put in another good run and get inside the top.
